What does a typical Smart Therapy treatment workflow look like?
A typical workflow includes powering on the system, selecting a patient, choosing an activity, adjusting settings on the tablet, and treating. all in under a minute.
Patient Profiles
How do I create a new patient profile?
From the tablet home screen, tap "Add Patient" and fill in the required fields. The profile will be saved and available for all future sessions.
How do I find a patient I've already created?
Use the search bar on the patient list screen. You can search by name or scroll through your patient roster.
Floor Level & Positioning
Why am I being asked to set the floor level?
The system needs to know where the physical floor is to properly position virtual objects and activities at the correct height for the patient.

What do I do if the virtual floor is too high or too low?
Recalibrate the floor level through the settings. This typically happens when the headset is moved to a new location or the patient changes positions.

What do I do if the patient isn't facing the right direction?
Use the Recenter Activity feature to reset the patient's facing direction without removing the headset.

What if I move the patient to another location during treatment?
Use the Reapply Boundary and Recenter feature from the tablet to recalibrate for the new location. no need to restart the session.

My boundary/play area is too small. How do I resize it?
You can resize the virtual boundary from the headset settings to give the patient more or less room.

I can see the virtual boundary/grid around my patient. What should I do?
The boundary grid appears when the patient is near the edge of the play area. Resize the boundary to give more room, or recenter the patient.

What's the difference between Recenter and Adjust Play Boundary?
Recenter resets the patient's facing direction and position. Adjust Play Boundary changes the size and shape of the virtual play area.

During Treatment
How do I navigate the tablet during treatment?
The tablet gives you full control. see what the patient sees, adjust settings, change activities, and monitor performance in real time.

Can I change activity settings while the patient is playing?
Yes. Available parameters in the Configuration panel can be adjusted during gameplay without pausing. speed, difficulty, target zones, and more.
How do I pause, switch activities, or adjust the patient's environment?
All of these controls are accessible from the tablet interface during treatment.

My patient is finished with an activity. How do I choose the next one?
From the tablet, tap the activity menu to browse and select the next activity. The transition is instant. no need to restart the session.

Controllers
What does a flashing red light on the controller mean?
The controller batteries are low. Replace the batteries before continuing treatment to avoid disconnection mid-session.
What does a flashing blue light on the controller mean?
The controller is not currently paired with the headset. Follow the reconnection steps to re-pair it.

My controller has no light. Is it off?
The controller may be in standby. Press the Home button to wake it. If no light appears, the batteries may need to be replaced.
How do I replace the controller batteries?
Each controller uses two AA batteries. Slide open the battery compartment on the back to replace them.
What do I do if one of my controllers won't connect?
Follow the controller reconnection guide to re-pair it with the headset.

Both controllers are continuously flashing blue or red and blue. What do I do?
This usually indicates both controllers have lost pairing. Try restarting the headset first, then re-pair each controller one at a time.

Connectivity & Troubleshooting
What do I do if the tablet says "Loading Remote Control"?
This usually means the tablet hasn't connected to the headset yet. Check that the hotspot is enabled and the headset is on the correct network.

What should I try first if the Smart Therapy system isn't working correctly?
Restart the headset first. this resolves most issues. Hold the power button for 5 seconds, then turn it back on.

Documentation
How do I generate documentation when I end a session?
When you end a session, the AI-Assisted Documentation system automatically generates a SOAP note from the session data. Review, edit, and export directly from the tablet.

I forgot to generate my note. Can I create it later?
Yes. Access any previous session from the patient's history and generate AI-assisted documentation retroactively.

How do I find a patient's previous sessions?
Open the patient's profile from the tablet and tap on their session history to view all past sessions and documentation.
Device Care
What should I do with the devices at the end of the day?
Follow the End of the Day guide to properly power down, clean, and store the headset and tablet for the next day.

What should I use to clean the headset?
Clean the headset and facial interface using the recommended disinfecting wipes between patients. Avoid getting excess moisture into the headset, buttons, ports, or other openings.
What should I use to clean the headset lenses?
Use a clean, dry microfiber lens cloth to gently wipe the lenses. Avoid using disinfecting wipes, cleaning solutions, or other liquids on the lenses.

Where should I start when choosing activities for a new patient?
